Regarding SS.com

Okay so I tried getting the backup up and it temporarily killed SS.com... I'm working to get it fixed but I won't be able to do so until after I both get some rest and then either talk to Starks or one of my sources at 110mb. Just be patient.

So... the site started acting funny around 2:30 am. Glitches in the graphics at first then it started getting unresponsive load times. I checked 110mb.com only to find that their site is down so I'm hoping that is why SS is screwy. If the problem is still ongoing come morning I'll look more into it.

Site is down right now. No clue why but its been confirmed to be a Server issue.

The server is down again due to 110mb neglect. Went down last night around 1am central(which is a time at 110mb where no admins are scheduled to work) so the problem was free to worsen for several hours before an admin signed in and noticed it. They're attempting to fix it now but its going to take some time.

Also SQ is suffering from down time as well so if people want to keep updated on SS then they'll have to talk to me on AIM.

The Server's Harddrive failed. Don't know what that means for our data or anything.

The P-Z harddrive crashed which is why the site is down. I'll have Sheba give everyone the details(if you guys are curious) once I talk to her.

The problem regarding SS being down is the same as it was last time. A advance attack by a hacker or two who are attacking the entire 110mb server instead of a single box. So its all of 110mb that's down.

Good news is that within a few weeks Box 18 will be available which means that the problems with our Server(box 17) should lessen considering all the hackers and stuff would have access to Box 18 instead.

Mk so the problem regarding the Server is not clear atm. It started out looking like the scheduled maintenance but ever since the server went down no one has heard anything from a 110mb admin. So yeah no clue, just gotta be patient and hope for the best.

Its the exact same kind of problem as before. Its just not directing us to that one site like it usually does.

News: Some Box17 Accounts have no files in them. Don't panic. Re-arranging data across drives to
improve performance. ETA: 16th Dec.

I'm pretty sure that the first database delete was due to accidental carelessness by either me or Sheba. I told you guys time and time again that the slightest clumsy error could screw up the entire database, hence my hesitation to give out privileges to access it.

Okay so no one panic when you see the error on SS. What that means is that the database is there BUT the MySQL is down, meaning 110mb can't display the stuff in the database. Once MySQL is back up and running SS will there.

Someone who used the server did something illegal so the server host quit hosting Box 17. 110mb isn't the Server host so they now need to find a new place to host their server. So that's the problem.

The MySQL for Box 17 is down. There's no reason for it yet but however for the last couple of days 110mb has had this header up in the news, so that might be why.

News: Box17 speed will stabilize by 10th Feb.
