Lost

Standing atop the back of a very large, very angry-looking clay eagle, Gin flies between the mountains so common in the Land of Stone. With a sigh, he pulls a range finder from one of his pockets and surveys the snow-covered slopes. He was looking for... Aha!

Gin and his bird bank to the right, heading down to a river and waterfall that, judging from the large amounts of steam rising from it, came from a large mountain hot-spring. As soon as he comes within a few meters of the ground, the ambassador jumps off of his ride, face-first into the snow. The eagle lands much more elegantly, as Gin scrambles up to the hot river and pulls a tin mug from a bag on his belt. He then dips said mug in the water, shoves a handful of snow in it to cool it off, and drinks it hastily.

He repeats this several times, then falls back into the freezing snow with a sigh of content. If he hadn't gotten so lost, lack of water wouldn't have been a problem... Now, what to do about food...?

Hikato was wearing a heavy parka, as she walked through the snow. Her eyes moved to the running water that she followed, its currents looked angry. She would not want to fall into that water although it looked fairly hot. She knew water with a current that fast would only drag someone like her down into a slow watery death. Walking silently, the snow crunched under her feet. She didn't know why she was out here, being a head healer for the mist village she almost wished she had never left.

But she had come to this place to see the sights, just to take a break. But this was proving to be more and more an adventure. Silently walking through the snow, she headed toward the waterfall the map she had showed. It should of been near here. Pulling out the map from the deep pockets of her pocket the red headed woman stares intently to the shapes on the map. It should be no more than a few miles away. Nodding her head she folded the map up, and started walking.

She walked onward, finally reaching the waterfall. Seeing Gin, the woman gives an impish smiles, and makes a snowball and throws it toward the mans head.

Half-flailing as a stinging-cold projectile smashes him in the face, Gin sits up and looks around. His assailant was a pretty, red-haired female. If only she was wearing less clothing... Making a snake handsign, the clay eagle returns to its normal size, only an inch tall, and looses it forever in the snow. Standing up, he tosses a vengeful handful of the white stuff at her, then blinks at Hikato as he stands and wipes the remaining snow and water from his face. "Wait..." Gin looks down at himself. "This stuff... is wet..." Realizing this fact, he was suddenly MUCH colder, and brings his scarf back over his mouth as he dries himself and his clothes with his C1 chakra. Even still, the cold bites at him. "That's what I get for growing up in a desert... And I thought Konoha was cold..."

"H-Hi. Um... I've n-never been around here before..." He really needed some warmer clothes... A nice coat, at least... "C-could you point me to th-the Rock Village, or maybe s-someplace warm to eat?"

Hikato watched Gin in amusement seeing how he reacted to being hit with the snow. She's silent as he stands, but then gets a handful of snow to the face. Pulling the sleeve of her parka up she wiped away the snow, laughing lightly. Her green eyes held a bright look to them as she stared at Gin. He was defiantly not dressed for this climate. Lightly stretching the woman grinned, "You're dressed like you've come from the desert and, that isn't really smart in this climate. They're opposites. One blazing hot the other frigid cold." The woman said lightly, her musical voice held a hint of laughter in it. Stepping back she stares at the water fall in silence it was beautiful.

"Hello, I can tell by the clothing." Hikato said with a smile, and then shifted around. "The Rock village?" Hikato peered at Gin and then motioned downward. "A long ways from here. For some where warm to eat, I'm sure there might be some inns on the mountain." She said lightly.

"Well, yeah... But... I didn't..." Laughing, Gin hugs himself for warmth. "I'll remember that next time... Wait, what?" He turns slowly and looks down the mountain slope. "Really? A long way?" Shaking, he looks up at the sky and complains like a child. "That's not fair! It's freezing! What kind of god-forsaken place is this?"

Sighing, he makes a handsign, holds two curled fingers up to his mouth, and blows a small stream of fire at the snow, melting a little dry patch. Gin sits on said dry patch and pulls his legs close to his body. "Ah... For such a beautiful place to be so cold..." Looking up at the woman, he grins. "So, I'm Gin. Who are you?"
