Physical description:
Tall and wiry, around 6' 5". Weighs around 170 lbs. Wears a leather overcoat, like the cowboy jackets, but doesn't wear a shirt. When in battle, takes off coat, for his shadow arms cant go through his jacket. Well, they could, but why ruin a perfectly good jacket? Pants are black, have no pigment what so ever, so go with his kekkei genkai. His dark hair is long and shaggy. Eyes are deep purple, and show that he is in the Kuragari clan. When kekkei genkai is activated, you can't see his features, the entire body is drained of color and turns pitch black. The only feature you can see is his eyes.
Personality: Something of an antihero, he isn't a bad guy, but he is not a good guy either. He's somewhere in between, a soldier of fortune. In other words, a mercenary. He has his morals, but he isn't stupid. He won't charge into a dangerous situation without ensuring that he will get something out of it first. He doesn't love money, however, he knows that money is needed, and wants it on a purely He generally has a cool disposition, keeping his emotions from getting in the way of decisions. He regards nearly everything with a sort of distant humor, a quiet smirk normally seen on his face. He enjoys giving out cryptic and confusing answers,, and can be bitingly sarcastic. However, at times he just prefers to just be blunt and to hell with what everyone thinks. He laughs openly at ignorant or weak enemies, and is never afraid to speak his mind. In battle he shows no mercy, and shows the same regard for those who don't pay him for his work.
Likes: Wandering the roads, fighting, seeing old friends, hanging in bars.
Hates: Contractors who don't pay, doing something when their isn't any reward.
Background: Okaru was born and raised in the Grass Village, where he grew up like any other ninja. By no means was he a prodigy, but he was very skilled, near the top of his class. Things continued like that for his entire stay in the village, until he became an ANBU member. One day, for no reason, really none at all, besides his own will, drove him to leave the village. He was done protecting the village, he wanted to do things his own way. He continued life like this until an unfortunate bount he was on went south, a simple kidnapping winding him up prisoner to the man who had hired him. His target had been the Yatsubi holder, and he had gotten him, but when he delivered him to the guy who wanted him, the man, Dr. Niro, double crossed him, and proceeded to rip the bijuu from the kid and put it into Okaru, hoping to create a super soldier out of him. However, Okaru turned out to be too strong, and escaped, with the Yatsubi inside of him. However, the seal was imperfect, it did not completely suppress the Yatsubi. Instead it always hovers on the edge of his consciousness, waiting for a chance to take command of Okaru's body. Because of this, Okaru is very hesitant of using the yatsubi's chakra for any extended period of time. He's lived as a mercenary for years and years, though his actions helping the different kages, specifically the Mizukage and Hokage, have earned him their trust.

Description:
Ability: Replicates itself to however many of Okaru's arms he makes. Wounds from blade are slow to heal and cannot be healed by most healing jutsus. This weapon is said to be cursed. It is very old, and the warrior who used it in the past was said to have used it to combat the Yatsubi. Okaru always keeps it by his side, as it lessens the Yatsubi's grip on his mind, and keeps it at bay.
Yatsubi: A 8 tailed basilisk, that seems endlessly long. Inky black, with rows and rows of dagger-like teeth, and blood red eyes. It has a sick sense of humor, and is very cruel. He hates Okaru, but gives him power out of amusement. Okaru and the yatsubi function a lot like Ling and Greed from Full Metal Alchemist, only Okaru is the one in control. Because of the imperfect seal, if Okaru dies, the Yatsubi dies, and so if needed the beast will take over to lay waste to anything required.
Demon Aura: Dark, purple liquid like chakra oozes up from the ground, and surrounds Okaru, clinging close to his skin. Okaru's pupils become snakelike slits, his hands claw like, his teeth serrated. Okaru gains increased speed and strength in this form, as well as a healing ability. Through the unstable seal, a bit of the beasts mind and will flow through into Okaru's mind, the more time passes, the more Okaru has to fight to keep his will under his control.
One Tail: The liquid like chakra expands into a long and serpentine tail, which can function just like one of his shadow arms, and can spear a man straight through. His strength and speed are again increased, as is his healing ability. His skin seems to turn ink-like, absorbing brunt attacks with little effect, and can withstand most taijutsu attacks. Okaru still has his own mind, though his thirst for blood increases with time.
Three Tail: The foul chakra around him swirls fiercely, as two more whip-like tails appear. The chakra becomes even darker, borderline black, while his eyes glow like twin purple suns. He is still in control at this point, though he is mostly driven by the demons instincts. He can summon many shadow arms at once, and has a seemingly infinite chakra pool. His speed and strength are increased greatly, as well as his healing powers. The chakra coating his skin has turned into a dark ink-like substance, coating his body substantially. It will absorb nearly all standard taijutsu, and if a blade is thrust at him the chakra will simply absorb it, leaving it immobile in his chakra. He can release his chakra into the air in the form of a dark, chakra imbued fog, where he can attack from the shadows.
Five Tail: Two more tails form, bringing the total up to 5. Okaru's last conscious form, he loses his mind with each second of its use. The dark chakra around him turns completely black, and seems to glue itself to his skin. It then turns completely calm, devoid of all color. No features can be made out except his eyes and mouth, which both glow bright purple. His mouth contains multiple vicious fangs, the slits of his eyes almost invisible. The ink chakra surrounding him can now absorb jutsu as well, with no harm done to him through basic elemental jutsu. The chakra will simply absorb the impact of the jutsu, and ripple over his body, down into the ground. Strong enough jutsu will of course affect him, but it will have lessened effect. In this form he can also release a devastating blast of dark energy, which can level a small village, leaving nothing but a vast crater behind. The instant Okaru's mind succumbs to the Yatsubi's, it enters 6 tails.
