Itami stands around 6'1 and weighs about 135, with a very wiry body. He has thick arms but a thing frame. He wears an open jacket, revealing his chest and numerous burn marks. He usually has a pair of sunglasses on, protecting his light blue eyes from his bright explosions. Around his neck is his father's necklace of a perfect ruby set in silver.
Personality: Itami is the kinda guy who blows shit up first and asks questions later. He isn't the greatest one on one fighter but he can still fight like that. His abilities are more used for taking out masses of people and armies. A little blanket of napalm over them and they're done. He is usually deep in thought while traveling but after making something explode or in a fight, his loud mouth and smart ass personality comes out.

Background: Growing up in the Rock village, Itami was a happy child, he had parents and a brother. He had made friends and gone to school, in all he was your average kid. However, one day one of his 'friends' dared him to go into the Tsuchikage's office while he wasn't there and steal something, it could be anything just as long as it was from his office. Itami took the dare and later that night walked into the office, however he wasn't able to make it in there before being found by a jounin. As he was running from the elder ninja, he threw himself into a room to hide. In the room, he found a scroll, deciding that it would be sufficient enough for his friends to believe he had stolen something, Itami took it and escaped out the window.
Showing his friends they were amazed and congratulated him on being the best ninja in their class by far. At this time, Itami was about 15 years old. Itami took the scroll home planning on dropping it off the next night. However, curiosity got the better of him and he opened the scroll and began training, secretly, and practicing the various jutsus on their. What Itami didn't know, was that this scroll had been kept in that room for a reason. The jutsus it held were dangerous and deadly and were outlawed from use. The reader would learn the deadly art of using and manipulating a substance very similar to the modern day napalm.
After he had mastered all the jutsus on the scroll, Itami decided to return it, but was caught. He was brought infront of the village council and because he was a minor could not be executed, so they banished him from the village. Itami swore revenge on his village, and the 'friends' who had made him take the scroll. After traveling as a loner for awhile, he was approached by a rather beautiful young woman in the middle of the forest. She said she was the leader of a group called Akatsuki, and had heard of his unique jutsus. She told them about their goals and what they were doing and said that if he didn't join them she would be forced to kill him because of all the information she had given him. Itami joined.
