Okaru VS Ayane

Ayane, the cold anbu B**** of the Lightning Counrty, wants to fight Okaru... if that is alright with you.

With an elegant tap, a ripple appeared on the water, spreading across the blue abyss. A kunoichi, as cold as ice, froze the water where she stood. "Come on out," she says, noticing a ninja from afar. "I won't bite... hard." Her beautiful purple irises searched the area, knowing an enemy of some sort was watching. The Lightning resident was ready for a fight, her thirst for battle not quenched from her normal duties, so she seeked out an opponent. A trouble maker, that's what she was. The anbu then took the offense, not waiting for a reply, tracking the ninjas location and throwing a kunai with a paper bomb on it. "Gotcha..." the vixen mused.

whoa, sorry anbu, forgot about this. alright, here i go.

Okaru looked at the paper bomb coming at him and smiled. Her? This would be easy. He dove to the side, and extended multiple arms into the ground, to propel him into the air, and landed 10 feet away from Ayane, 10 arms ready to rumble. With a laugh, he threw himself at Ayane, fists a blur.

The anbu weaved in and out with her amazing speed, dodging the fist before materializing a sword made of pure ice. With a sudden smirk, she would disappear and reappear behind the ninja, attempting a quick stab at his mid-section with one hand, while her other hand was already making a handsign. Ice needles would fly at him simultaneously if he dodged or blocked the attack.

OOC: alright, are we fighting on a lake, or ground? just wondering...

Okaru expected the attack, and extended a shadow arm from his back, his katana appearing from his body. He intercepted the blow, and jumped away, ready for the needles, which formed around him. He quickly be began to spin, eyes everywhere at once, and raised his shadow arms to intercept the needles as they flew toward him. When he stopped, every needles was either on the ground, or in his shadow arms. "Yikes." He said. "If those arms could feel pain...that would hurt. Now then..." His blade glowed a dark purple, and blades apeared in his every hand, the origonal in his real hands. "How you ike me now?!" He yelled as he dashed towards Ayane.

OOC: btw, I know you already know, but I'm not puppet, so you can change that post so nobody gets confused, alright? And we're fighting a lake surrounded by ground. She started out on the lake and that's where you attacked her. But we can move to the ground later in the fight.


"Hmm, I'm liking you more by the second," she mused, ice wings growing on her back as she did a few handsigns. She would then fly at Okaru, like he flew at her. She tried to weave best out of the range of the swords and land a slash at his chest. But, that was only part of her tactic. What actually was attacking Okaru was a ice clone. The ice clone would explode if Okaru hit it with one of his swords and he would be frozen solid by the explosion. The real Ayane was elsewhere. Probably underwater, waiting it out to see if the plan went off with success.

Okaru ran towards the enemy ninja, and after a few attacks he made contact with her side. Wait, too easy. He thought before the clone exploded in a cloud of ice, and it lanced up his arm. "Shit!" He cried as he severed his shadow arm, and jumped back, as the arm froze, then dissipated.

"Not bad, not bad at all..." He muttered as he looked around. "Fine then, be that way." He began to summon the Yatsubi chakra, and black chakra began to form around his back, turning into wings. With that, he rose into the air, and surveyed the lake below. "Come and get me!"

The area quickly became colder as Okaru told Ayane to come and get him. It seemed like the water froze over, in a way, before Ayane broke out of the frozen lake covered in a suit of complete ice. She had wings, claws, a tail; the works. She flapped her wings quickly, blowing cold winds at the man before sending many shards of ice at him. All the while she sent them with her wings, she started a few handsigns. Once they were finished, a large ice tiger flew from the frozen lake and attempted to bite into the ninja with all of it's ferocity.

Okaru swiftly dived out of the way, and struck out at the ice tiger as it attacked him. It fell, sliced in half. He rose again, behind her, and spoke. "You have to do better than that." He flickered, and instantly two more Okaru's appeared, one above her, one in front. Instantly, they both attacked her.

She couldn't let both attacks get through, one would be fatal by itself, so... her wings turned into a sphere around her and blocked both of the oncoming attacks. But, she let sphere break seconds later, trying to make him think her ice was weak, when it fact it was not. The purple ice sphere shards turned into beautiful petals and fluttered around the two before freezing them solid. She fell back to the icy lake since her wings were now gone. Okaru had already flickered away so she prepared another jutsu for when he came out.

Okaru stepped out of the shadows, 20 feet away, shadow arms gone, only his blade in his hands. "Impressive." he said. She took out two of his shade clones, he hadent expected that...he made a mental note that his clones could be frozen...he would have to remember that.

"So...shall we continue?" He asked, as he created multiple arms along his torso.

"Hmm, yes we shall. This is fun. What is your name again, ninja? You intrigue me..." she said with a dark sexy tone as four wings of ice appeared on her back.

"I go by the name of Okaru Kuragari. You?" He spoke, clearly missing the subtext of the comment. Black chakra began to swril around him again, wings forming.

"Ayane Mugen, of the Cloud village. Anbu Captain," she said with much aplomb. "I haven't fought a strong ninja in such a while, so show me what else you got Okaru," she taunted, completing a few handsigns and using her kekei genkai. About ten large wolves made of pure ice would surface from the frozen lake and rush at Okaru, each one as vicious as a demon.

"Alright...Shade clone jutsu." He said, as 3 shade clones flickered into existance, all with 10 arms and a blade in each. The origonal stood in front, and they assumed an arrowhead possition, as the wolves ran at them. In seconds, they still stood, the ice wolves cracked and split around them. "Come on, you can do better than that." He said as he took to the air, his clones following. As they rose, they broke off, and each prepared a run at Ayane.

"That's cute," she said darkly as he underestimated the ninja. Her ice wolves weren't supposed to be destroyed that easily, but they never were really destroyed. They just were broke into small pieces of ice, which I guess Okaru never took notice off. All the ice shards from the large wolves quickly surrounded Ayane as the Okaru closed on to her position. But, to make it more interesting, she snapped her fingers, causing the shards to turn smaller and more precise. Each one of the shards would fly into the eyes of the clones, blinding them for a few moments. When they would open their eyes, Ayane would be gone and inches away from the real Okaru.

"Ice Cavern Jutsu"

Okaru would now believe he was in a ice cavern. He would know it was a genjutsu, seeing he is a skilled ninja and all, but it wouldn't be easy to get out of it, it was very powerful. Saying release with a handsign would not work. It causes the enemy to walk around in circles for hours by making it seem as if they're walking straight to their desired destination. Okaru would eventually become exhausted after traveling the same path over and over. Ayane would speak in the cave, "Get out if you can," she taunted, a light appearing in front of the man. "Follow the light," she commanded softly before spears of ice would fall from the cave.

OOC: you can get out of the jutsu, but don't do it too easily...

Okaru looked around. Somehow he had been surrounded by an ice cavern. "Peh, petty genjutsu." He tried to release, but nothing happened. He tried again. "Ok, not so petty..." He looked around again, and saw a light. "Might as well follow it." He heard something, and jumped back. Stalactites (stalagmites?) fell, just where he was standing. "Well, this sucks... But, this jutsu must be draining, so ill just sit here." With that, he plopped down, and waited.

OOC: Ha, take that.

Ayane cursed inwardly as he half saw through the jutsu. But, she would get the cocky bastard if he thought he could lay down. With a sudden burst of chakra, she would alter the genjutsu and use ninjutsu, in the genjutsu. The next block of ice that would fall, would be real.

OOC: hehe, take that.

Staring up at the ceiling, Okaru saw a new batch of stalactites prepare to fall. "This again?" He said, as he started using the yatsubi chakra. The icicles fell, and one struck Okaru. But instead of it going through him, it sunk into him, until there was nothing at all. He was fine. "You'll have to do better than that!" He yelled, figuring that she could hear him.

Well, it was time to freeze him. Since he couldn't be effected by those type of attacks, she would have to totally to encase him and since he wasn't fully intangible since he wasn't a ghost, he could be frozen. It would get unbearingly cold in the cave, reaching temperatures that cracked skin easily and froze water in mere moments. "Cold enough? Surrender and I'll let you leave."

"D-d-d-d-d-d-d-damn...It's freakin cold in here...alright, time to go..." He cracked his knuckles, and produced multiple arms from his body. He went over to one of the walls, and punched it. Such was the power of the punch, the ice cracked. "Heh, as long as I think I'm in this cave, seems like I will be...but if I think I get out, then...I should be out...20 arms barrage!!!" He shouted, launching 20+ arms from his chest at the wall of the cave. The wall shattered, and Okaru stepped through, back onto the lake. "That was fun." He said as he spied the other ninja, some distance away.

Ayane sighed as he got out of the jutsu, she saw no use in continuining this battle, especially with that demon and his abilities. But, she was going to play it off.

"Good job, you got out of the genjutsu. You are truly skilled," she told him, the area going back to normal slowly since she was not focusing on her ice anymore. The ice slowly crept off her body as she walked toward him. Her purple eyes gave him a sensual stare as she waved him off, "Bye, big boy, you don't get yourself killed, kay'. I wanna see you again." With that, she disappeared into purple petals, off to the Cloud Village once again.
