Physical description:
Mako stands at just under six feet, and is weighs about 180 lbs. He has somewhat spiky brown hair, and he let's it grow pretty long. Even though he is only 35, some grey hairs have begun to appear in his hair. His eyes are slate grey, and he is generally seen with a somewhat serious expression on his face. He is usually seen with a 5:00 shadow, never more or less. He generally wears his old flak jacket, worn from years of use, under his cloak. His cloak is a mottled brown/blue/green, and is never seen without it. He rarely wears his Mizukage hat, donning it only for special occasions, when he has to. On his back rests his sword, Hariken, which he is also never seen without. Over six feet long, it is far too big to rest at his side, so he wears it on his back.
Personality: Mako is a generally serious person. When he was younger he was more relaxed, but the duties of Mizukage have hardened him. He is a strong believer in that a Kage's job is to protect his people, and he does that to the best of his abilities. However, when the situation allows it, he drops the mask and is much more easygoing and relaxed. He believes that people must earn trust and respect, but once they do, he will stand beside them through hell if called on. He can't stand people who use their power to abuse people or for personal gain. If he thinks something is wrong, he will generally let it be known, and will then do what he can to fix the problem. While he may sometimes be direct and blunt, he is a master strategist, seeing objects and strategies that other people would miss. Underneath all of this, he is a kind person, and prefers to avoid fighting altogether.
Likes: His village, his friends, seafood, seeing his people happy, and the simple things.
Hates: Doesn't hate much, only what threatens the Mist Village and his friends. Oh yeah. Deserts. He hates deserts.

Classification: A very large double edged broadsword, erring on the side of a zanbato.
Description: Hariken is an impressive sword, the blade at least 6 feet long, and a good foot in width. The hilt is a foot long, suited for both one and two handed combat. The hilt is white, and has no cross piece to speak of. Laid inside the hilt is a saphire. However, true to it's name, it is very thin, barely an inch thick. The blade is a pale blue, and almost translucent. However, it is incredibly sharp and strong, and incredibly durable. It is made of a rare steal, the likes of which have not been seen for decades. The sword was once his fathers, and he inherited it when his father died. Mako wears it across his back, and has it on him at all times. The blade has seen him through many an adventure.

Main ability: Can absorb water and convert it to chakra, or convert chakra into blasts or blades of water or ice.
He can release massive blasts of water, or more finely controlled blades or jets.
