The wind's fury <Riko Vs Hikato.>

Riko leaned forward on a tree branch over looking a lake before her. A small smile showed on her face, as she peered at the light that played on the surface of the lake. She watched the clean water ripple gently, before grinning broadly. The young child leaned back on her tree branch before leaping forward of the branch with the ease of the cat. Plummeting toward the water, the young girl let out a laugh before twisting her torso so she was staring toward the sun. She reached upward toward the sun before flicking her gaze to the water. Seconds before hitting the water her bugs came out under her, protecting her from falling in the water.

Laughing broadly the girl's eyes narrowed for a moment. "I love days like this." She said thoughtfully, and then gazed at the sun one last time before the bugs dropped her on the shore. Listening to the bugs buzz around her the girl looked surprised to see them buzzing so agitated. She didn't sense anything. Peering around she shrugged her shoulders finally.

"Must be the weather." The girl said thoughtfully.

Hikato watched the small girl with a curious look, her green eyes held a light look to them. Being so free... The woman let out a vicious laugh, watching the young girl still. Her laughter seemed to come from any where, and everywhere, as her wind made it drift around. Watching the girl she takes out three senbon, twirling them she silently moves through the trees. A young girl alone in the woods... and what is that I see. A mist head band around the little buggers arm. Hikato thought as she ran silently. Throwing the senbon right at the girl the woman smiled.

Leaping downward, and landing on her feet from the second highest branch, the young woman seemed at ease. Danger seemed to swarm around her. She knew the little brat had bugs since she could see them flying around.

"Prepared to die, little one?" Hikato asked happily.

Hearing the laughter the fair haired girl seems to stiffen. The laughter seemed insane and cruel, she did not like it. Peering around she tried to pick up a good hint of where the laughter was orientating from. Seeing a flash before her senbon came flying toward her right at her vital parts. Thinking fast the small girl hauled the large sword from over her shoulder in front of her. Hearing the senbon bit the blade and fall to the ground the girl noticed she had slid back slightly. The force behind that attack had been amazing for something like that.

Moving her sword slightly the girl watched the female land not more then ten meters in length away. Her blue eyes flashed with a cautious look as she leaptedbackward, "State your name and rank, before I am forced to disarm you and st-" Her eyes locked on the Akatsuki robes. There had been various reports of this group. Taking another glance over the female her eyes widened. This isn't good. I'll make the mist proud.

Shifting her stance, the bugs around her seemed at ill ease. The red haired leader would attack, the woman was known for being insane. And ex mist member....

Hikato read the look in the young girl's eyes, listening to the musical voice of the child the woman laughed. "Really?" She mocked lightly, "Disarm me, with what sweetie? Your big sword? Probably can't even use it right, and what's with all the bugs?" Hikato looked at the young girl with narrowed eyes. She herself did not particularity enjoy bugs, she found them rather disgusting. Shifting her weight around her hand closes around her sword for a moment. "Tell me child, do you like pain?" She asked cocking her head to the side before leaping forward, moving her hand from the sword Hikato easily crossed the distance between them.

Pulling her hand back she slams her fist downward right at where Riko is standing. If the blow hits it would be hard enough to kill the child instantaneously. But the little monkey would move, Hikato bet on it. Seeing the bugs she looked slightly disgusted, she would get rid of them next. Smiling to herself the young woman was prepared to kill the brat. Unless she found out the brat was worth something, then she'd only beat her to the edge of death and kidnap her.

Grinning she was prepared to torture the fair haired child if she didn't kill her with this strike.

Riko listened to the woman, and then watched the motion of the body. She's coming at me. The young girl thought now, utterly surprised by the speed. Moving backward the young girl leaped back, while hearing the rocks where she had been shatter and the ground under her shift. Surprise filled her eyes as the dirt and dust shifted up all around her. The young girl leaped forward, away from the crazy Akatsuki leader and toward the lake. Haste was in her steps. She had to move before the red haired vixen noticed she had ran away from small cove before the lake. Glancing back over her shoulder the girl frowned before leaping onto the clear water of the lake.

Maintaining a chakra control the young girl slowly moved across the clear water, keeping herself perfectly calm. She needed an open area to collect her mind. Although fighting in a wooded area would usually be good for her Riko doubted this time it would be. The woman appeared to be faster than her already. So she wanted to work some where that she had open space to allow her to maneuver.

Looking at her sword, the girl is prepared to fight the Akatsuki leader with everything she has. I can only hope I have enough strength to get on through this. The girl thought with a frown.
